What is eps record?

EPS stands for Extended Play Single, which is a type of vinyl record that contains more than one song on each side. This type of record was commonly used in the 1950s and 1960s and was often used as a marketing tool for musicians to promote their new albums or singles.

EPS records typically contain between four and eight tracks and usually have a playing time of around 12-20 minutes. They are smaller in size compared to standard LPs and usually have a diameter of 7 inches (17.5 cm).

The sound quality of EPS records can vary depending on the pressing and the age of the record. They are generally considered to be of lower sound quality compared to LPs, but they are still highly collectible and sought after by vinyl enthusiasts.

Some popular examples of EPS records include Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel" and The Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour".
